Hillary has been a resident of Hernando, MS since she was 11 years old, growing up on the same street where Christ Covenant is now located! After attending SBEC (now Northpoint Christian) from first through twelfth grade, Hillary moved to Virginia to attend Liberty University and earn her B.S. in Communications. During that time God brought her to Redeemer Presbyterian, and she became actively involved in RUF.
Hillary graduated in 2008, moved back to Hernando, and married her high school sweetheart, Wes Hale. For the first ten years of their marriage, Hillary started and operated a cottage school. She became mom to Forest in 2016, with Mercy Paige and Foster to follow!
Hillary has led the women’s ministry team for several years and has taught Bible study for the last five years. Her desire to know and teach God’s Word is connected to believing Romans 10:17–that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” She hopes to be part of building rich, meaningful relationships amongst the women of Christ Covenant and seeing mutual faith increase by knowing God more through His Word!
Hillary enjoys spending time with her family (and dog, Hardy Jane!), experiencing good theatre and music, tending her garden, writing, and homeschooling her children.
