Staff and Leadership

Jim Plunk

Jim was born and raised in Memphis, TN, graduated from Covenant College in 2006 with a BA in Philosophy, and played four years on the men’s soccer team. Jim, having interned at two churches working with students, spent a year as a missionary in Ethiopia with MTW in 2007 where he met his wife Jodi, who is from England. After graduating with a Masters in Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in June 2013, Jim served for three years at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro Tennessee in student ministry, for three years as Senior Pastor at New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Summit Mississippi, and is excited to serve at Christ Covenant Church in Hernando. Jim and Jodi have been married since 2008 and have three kids: Eleanor, Charlotte, and Oliver. Jim enjoys being outdoors playing any sport, spending time with family, reading, brewing beer with Jodi, and meeting people over coffee or food. Due to being a parent, he is also addicted to that same coffee!

Heath Warbritton

Heath was born in Memphis, TN and grew up in Marion, AR. While doing his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas, he was introduced to the PCA through the ministry of Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), where the Lord called him to serve the Church. Since graduating with his B.A. in Music in 2011, Heath has served in music, worship, youth, and administrative roles at several PCA congregations throughout Arkansas, including churches in Siloam Springs, Fayetteville, Hot Springs, and Sherwood. Heath accepted the call of Christ Covenant Church in December of 2021.

Heath also serves as Conference Coordinator for our presbytery’s annual winter youth conference, CPYC. He enjoys spending his spare time watching Razorback sports, doing anything outdoors, and sharing great conversation over fancy coffee, craft beer, or a dram of Islay scotch.
